AutoQuickTrade — Quick Manual

One-click trade panel for single pairs and currency baskets, with pyramiding, auto-pyramiding and line-triggered pending entries.
IN CHART VERITAS ⚡

01What it is

AutoQuickTrade puts a compact panel on your chart. One click opens or closes a whole position — a single broker pair, or a full MATTRIX basket traded as its real legs. On top it adds rule-based pyramiding (manual or automatic) and pending entries you set with a line on the chart.

02Setup

#FIX (28 pairs) — a hot iron. One BUY / SELL / PEND acts on all 28 legs at once. Per-pair settings (pyramiding, AUTO, per-pair spread, anti-hedge) run on each leg on their own; basket settings (basket spread, max trades) apply to the summed 28. Risk multiplies by 28 — 0.1%/layer ≈ 2.8% across the basket — and up to 5 layers × 28 = 140 open tickets. Locked by default — use it on a DEMO account, for testing only.
Netting / exchange accounts: detected on load → the panel forces pyramiding and AUTO off. (An add on netting merges into the one net position and silently overwrites your SECURE / BE stop.) Single trades, SECURE, TP and partial closes still work correctly — a red ! NETTING - pyramiding OFF notice stays on the panel. For the full basket / pyramiding feature set, use a hedging account. Manual re-adds remain your responsibility.
Settings do not travel between charts. Opening a chart from Basket Strength carries the permission to trade — it does not carry your settings. Magic number, lot mode, risk, ATR parameters and SL/TP on the new chart come from its template, not from the chart you clicked on. A basket chart running risk-based sizing with magic 1112 can therefore open a pair chart that trades fixed lots with magic 1111 — both are behaving correctly. Check the panel before you trade a freshly opened chart, and keep the template you configure in Basket Strength in step with how you want those charts to trade. The journal records where the chart came from: Opened from #EUR.

Info lines

  • Lot mode & risk
  • SL / TP basis (panel unit or ATR)
  • AutoPyr status (step & max layers)
  • P/L — net: profit + swap − est. commission (c:); with TL off the pip / point sum
  • Spread & block reason

A few seconds after load / profile switch the panel re-asserts itself on top, so indicator labels never cover it.

Switch row — timeframe bar and TL

A row above the panel holds switches that act on all open charts: the timeframe buttons on the left and TL on the right, directly above + / −. The row stays visible with the panel collapsed; a highlighted button (cyan) shows the current state of this chart. Panel Y position sets the top of this row (default 20); the panel starts one row lower.

ButtonEffect
TLTrade levels on / off — the terminal's Show trade levels on every open chart. With TL off the panel also hides money: P/L in pips / points instead of the account currency, the lot line without its amount ($/pip: --), and the pending / OCO line labels without lot and money, showing distances only.
1 · 5 · 15 · H1 · H4 · D1 · W1Sets every open chart to this timeframe. Charts running an EA named in Timeframe bar: not on charts running these EAs are left alone (default: SyntheticCharts, BasketViewer — a timeframe change re-initialises them).
TL off for screenshots. Before posting a chart on social media, switch TL off: trade lines, money and lot sizes disappear, pips and points remain. The terminal's Trade tab (balance, positions) is not part of the chart — close it before taking the screenshot.
A timeframe change restarts every program on the chart. Indicators and EAs re-initialise, the panel is rebuilt and keeps its state, as with a manual timeframe change. Pip P/L with TL off counts every layer equally, whatever its lot — with pyramids of different lot sizes it can differ in sign from the money P/L.

By default the panel starts collapsed — useful when nine charts share one screen. Click + to open it, − to fold it back to the header line; a pure timeframe change keeps whichever state you left it in. Set Start with the panel collapsed to false for charts you actively trade from.

04Entering trades

Market: click BUY or SELL. For a basket, every leg opens at once (wide legs may be skipped — see Spread).

Pending (line-triggered):

Behaviour on touch: if spread is temporarily too wide, the EA keeps retrying (throttled) until it clears — bounded by Pend timeout seconds and the Pend max dist % chase limit. Any other rejection disarms and is logged.

Pending SL / TP lines (single-pair charts): arming a pending also places two draggable lines, pre-set to the distance your current settings would produce:

About those amounts. They are calculated with the broker's own contract size and currency conversion, not estimated — and they are net: the round-trip commission is subtracted, which makes the loss at the stop bigger and the gain at the target smaller. One caveat: the figure assumes a fill at the line you drew. For market execution it holds; for a pending in a fast market it is a close estimate, not a promise.
The EA refuses to fire on an impossible setup rather than letting the broker reject it: a line on the wrong side of the entry shows ! SL WRONG SIDE - trade blocked, and a lot the account cannot margin shows ! LOT > MARGIN, and a lot above the broker's maximum per order shows ! LOT > MAX. The pending stays armed — fix the line (or drag the stop further out to shrink the lot) and it triggers on the next touch. The reason is named in the journal.

OCO straddle and timed breakout (pair charts)

With OCO mode set to Breakout or Fade, PEND BUY and PEND SELL each place their own line and both can be armed at the same time. The first line touched fires; the other line is removed (one cancels the other). Click 1 places the line one ATR away on the correct side, click 2 arms it, click 3 cancels it.

ModeBuy lineSell lineStopTarget
Breakoutabove pricebelow pricethe opposite linerange × OCO breakout TP (default 2, 0 = none)
Fadebelow priceabove pricebeyond the line by OCO fade buffer (% of the range, default 20)the opposite line

The range is the distance between the two lines. While both lines exist, each line shows its stop, target and lot, and dotted lines preview the stop and target levels; a line on the wrong side for the mode shows ! WRONG SIDE and cannot be armed. A single armed line without its counterpart behaves like a classic pending with the normal SL/TP settings. The fill uses the same gates as BUY/SELL (spread, margin, ! LOT > MAX); a blocked fill keeps the line armed and retries after 5 seconds. Lines and armed state survive a timeframe change.

Kept simple on purpose: OCO and timed breakout work on pair charts only; on basket charts the classic PEND BUY/SELL applies. While a position opened by OCO is open, AUTO makes no adds on that chart — one entry, one stop, one target. A line can only be armed if its target pays for the costs: TP must be at least OCO minimum TP / cost (default 3) × spread + round-trip commission, otherwise the label shows ! TP < COST and arming is refused (a timed breakout with a too-small range is skipped). The labels show the lot and the result at SL and TP in money, net of commission.

Timed breakout (OCO mode = Timed breakout) works like Breakout, but places the lines itself. One click on PEND BUY or PEND SELL arms it (button: BO WAIT hh:mm). When the reference candle closes — start Timed breakout time in server time (HH:MM), length Timed breakout minutes, built from M1 — both lines are drawn on its high and low and armed. If the price is already outside the range at that moment, the breakout is skipped as stale (no late entry). Unfired lines are removed Timed breakout expiry minutes after the candle close (0 = end of the server day). Clicking again while waiting or armed cancels everything. Each click arms one breakout; it does not repeat the next day.

OCO breakout SL buffer (% of the range, default 0) moves the stop of Breakout and Timed breakout beyond the opposite line.

Two risks remain: a price jump across both lines fills only the side that is touched first, and a false breakout can reverse straight into the stop at the opposite line.

05Lot sizing & stops

Units — the spread is your yardstick. The panel labels every distance in the symbol's own unit, and the spread reading is the anchor: whatever unit it shows is exactly the unit your SL / TP / SECURE values use.
• Forex & metals → pips (e.g. EURUSD 0.8 pips, Gold 1.1 pips).
• Indices, crypto, stocks → pts, where 1 pt = one whole price unit (index point / $1): US30 0.7 pts, BTCUSD 12 pts. So a SECURE trail of 10 on US30 is 10 index points; on BTCUSD it is $10. That is why the settings read panel unit rather than "pips". (In Risk % + ATR mode the entry SL/TP are ATR-based and self-scaling anyway; the panel unit governs the manual buttons.)

06Protect & take profit — the offline bracket

Three one-click tools manage open positions. SECURE and TP place server-side stops and targets, so they keep working even when MT5 is closed — together they bracket the position for a walk-away.

SECURE — break-even & trail

Secure distance = 0 → locks the stack's net break-even (entry ± round-trip cost + SECURE net-BE buffer, default 3 panel units) once it is profitable enough. > 0 → trails that many pips behind the current price, but never looser than break-even — BE is a floor under the trail. Tighten-only; re-click to trail up.

Live: PROTECTED (every leg has a stop) · NAKED: n (n legs unprotected).

TP — the ceiling

Sets a server-side take-profit TP distance pips ahead of the current price on every leg — re-click to trail it. A green TP: n set flash confirms your target was placed.

-25%-50% Partial close: close that share of every leg's volume, immediately — discretionary profit-taking / de-risking. Lot-safe: a leg is skipped if the closed part or the remainder would fall below the broker min lot.

Net P/L & cost model: the panel P/L is net — profit + swap − estimated round-trip commission, learned automatically from your fills per symbol and shown as c:. Set Round-trip commission / lot to override, or leave 0 to auto-learn.
Offline vs online: SECURE and TP survive offline (real SL / TP orders on the broker). The -25% / -50% partials are manual clicks — online by nature, but their result is permanent. Anything account-wide or trailing stays online-only.

07Basket exit lines — SET SL / SET TP

On a basket chart the panel shows two extra buttons. They place a price level on the synthetic chart that closes every leg of this basket when the basket price crosses it — a basket-level exit that sits above whatever stops the individual legs carry.

Same three-step rhythm as the pending lines: click to place, drag to position, click to arm. An armed line can still be dragged — the side is re-taken, so moving it never triggers it.

Online only. These levels are watched by the EA, not held at the broker. They need the terminal running with this chart loaded, and they do not replace the stops on your individual legs — they overlay them.

08Pyramiding

Adding to a winning trade, on your terms. Same rules whether you click or AUTO does it:

Add purely on your own confirmation regardless of profit? Set Min pips = 0 and Only add in profit = false.

In Risk % + ATR mode: lot, SL and TP scale with volatility, but Min pips and BE buffer stay pip-based — scale them to the instrument like SL/TP (on BTCUSD a 1000-pip add step ≈ $100).

09AUTO pyramiding — two switches

AUTO does exactly what a manual add would, automatically. It fires only when both are on:

Safety reset: AUTO returns to OFF after every restart, profile switch, symbol change and parameter change — you re-arm deliberately. It is preserved only across a pure timeframe change. AUTO is local: it runs only while MT5 and the chart are live.

10Spread filters

SettingEffect
Max spread per pairSkips individual wide legs and opens the rest of the basket.
Max basket spreadSums all legs; if the total is exceeded the whole basket is rejected (0 = off).

On wide-cross baskets (e.g. #GBP) raise the basket limit or set it to 0, and set the per-pair limit to suit your style.

11Magic number — your separation tool

AUTO and pending only manage positions whose magic matches Magic Number (default 1111). Trades from the panel carry it automatically; manual platform orders carry magic 0 and are ignored. Use the magic to keep discretionary and tool-managed trades apart.

Not "0 = all". Unlike the Position Monitor (where a magic filter of 0 means every position), in AutoQuickTrade the magic is a literal stamp & filter. Each chart manages only its own magic. Setting Magic Number to 0 therefore manages manual trades (they carry magic 0) — not the panel's own trades, and not "all". One panel cannot manage a mixed set (e.g. own 1111 + manual 0) at once — by design.
